Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Turfera (“the Platform”), operated by Turfera (“Company”, “we”, “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Platform.

These Terms apply to all users of the Platform, including turf/venue owners (“Tenants”) and their customers (“Players”).

2. Description of Service

Turfera is a SaaS platform that enables sports turf and court owners to:

  • Create a branded online booking page for their venue
  • Automate bookings via WhatsApp using a bot
  • Collect payments directly via Razorpay
  • Manage bookings, courts, and pricing via an admin dashboard

3. Account Registration

To use Turfera as a Tenant, you must register an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account
  • Accept responsibility for all activity under your account

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By registering, you represent that you have the authority to bind your business to these Terms.

4. Subscription Plans & Billing

Turfera offers subscription plans billed annually. By subscribing:

  • You authorise us to charge your selected payment method for the annual fee
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
  • All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes (GST)
  • Plan prices may change upon renewal — we will notify you 30 days in advance

No commission model: We charge a flat annual fee only. We do not take a percentage of your booking revenue. All booking payments go directly from your customers to your Razorpay account.

5. Refund Policy

We offer a 14-day free trial. After the trial period:

  • Annual subscription fees are non-refundable once the billing cycle begins
  • If you cancel, your account remains active until the end of the paid period
  • Refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis for technical failures on our end

6. Payments & Razorpay Integration

Turfera integrates with Razorpay to facilitate payment collection. You acknowledge that:

  • You must create and maintain your own Razorpay account
  • All player payments are processed directly by Razorpay into your account
  • Turfera does not hold, process, or control your booking revenue
  • Razorpay's terms of service and privacy policy govern payment processing
  • You are responsible for refunds to your customers in case of cancellations

7. WhatsApp Integration

The WhatsApp booking bot is powered by the WhatsApp Business API. You acknowledge that:

  • Use of WhatsApp features is subject to Meta's Terms of Service
  • You must not use the bot to send unsolicited messages or spam
  • We may suspend WhatsApp features if there are policy violations reported by Meta

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Turfera to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
  • Interfere with the operation of the Platform
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform
  • Use the Platform for any purpose other than legitimate sports venue management

9. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Platform — including but not limited to the software, design, logos, and text — are owned by Turfera and are protected by intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of your venue data (bookings, customer information, pricing). You grant us a limited licence to process and store this data to provide the Service.

10. Data & Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Platform, you consent to the collection and use of data as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if:

  • You violate these Terms of Service
  • Your subscription lapses and is not renewed
  • We determine that your use is harmful to the Platform or other users

You may cancel your account at any time by contacting us at hello@turfera.in. Upon cancellation, access will continue until the end of the paid period.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Turfera and Turfera shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of revenue arising from Platform downtime or outages
  • Payment disputes between you and your customers
  • Errors or delays in WhatsApp message delivery

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or a notice on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Rajasthan, India.
